On January 3, the OpenHarmony community officially announced its December 2024 operational report.
As of December 31, 2024, the Open Atom open-source HarmonyOS community has accumulated more than 8,190 contributors, a total of 63 member units, and generated more than 490,000 PRs, more than 29,000 stars, more than 102,000 forks, and 68 SIGs.
In 2024, the co-builders have contributed a total of more than 15.56 million lines of code to OpenHarmony, covering 87 requirements in 28 subsystems.
Among them, Huawei Device Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., and Hunan Kaihong Zhigu Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., the top three co-construction units, contributed more than 13.615 million+, 877,000+, and 291,000+ lines of code, respectively. In December 2024, Shenzhen Kaihong, Kaihong Zhigu, Jiulian Kaihong, Honghu Wanlian, Runhe, ArcherMind, and other units will build a total of 6 features into the backbone, and the attached features of the report are as follows:
