OpenHarmony community released its operation report for January 2025 today
On February 10, the OpenHarmony community released its operation report for January 2025 today: As of January 31, 2025, the community has accumulated more than 8,200 contributors, a total of 63 member units, and generated more than 512,000 PRs, more than 29,000 Stars, more than 105,000 Forks, and 68 SIGs.
The key events of the OpenHarmony community are as follows:
On January 22, the new version of the compatibility assessment portal was officially launched and opened to the public, and as of January 31, a total of 63 products have passed the compatibility evaluation
The 2024 annual working meeting of the OpenHarmony Community Project Management Committee was held in Shenzhen on January 12, which comprehensively summarized the work and achievements of the Project Management Committee in 2024, and clarified the work direction and key tasks in 2025
In January, the OpenHarmony Community Technical Steering Committee dismantled a total of 54 OpenHarmony technical topics and released them to the public. A total of 39 presentations were made by 18 technical clubs, covering 32 topics, of which 18 topics have been completed
In January, Runhe, Kaihong Zhigu, Honghu Wanlian, ArcherMind Technology, Chinasoft International and other units jointly built 6 characteristics into the backbone; Shenzhen Kaihong and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China completed the development of 2 tripartite libraries & tripartite frameworks for co-construction
In January, 49 new products passed the compatibility evaluation, and a total of 1,011 products from 353 manufacturers have passed the compatibility evaluation
Code contributions
Since the beginning of this year (2025.1.1 – 2025.1.31), the co-construction units have contributed a total of more than 450,000 lines of code to OpenHarmony, covering 6 requirements in 4 subsystems. Huawei Device Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Runkaihong Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and ArcherMind Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., the top three co-construction units, contributed 442,299, 10,360, and 1,749 lines of code (new lines) respectively, the details are as follows:

In addition, Shenzhen Kaihong and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China have completed the development of 2 tripartite libraries & tripartite framework co-construction needs:

According to the "Announcement on the End of Compatibility Evaluation of OpenHarmony 4.0.x Releases Branch", starting from January 1, new products will not be supported to be evaluated based on the version of the old branch (OpenHarmony 4.0.x Releases and earlier), and the old product (the product that has been evaluated) will be evaluated in LTS or Release Upgrade assessment is still supported during the branch maintenance cycle.
As of January 31, the number of OpenHarmony community partners has grown to 401. The Ecology Committee has set up 12 special committees and prepared a special committee on aerospace and construction, with a total of 67 members. The Ecosystem Committee released a total of 4 ecological brochures, and a total of 73 implementation cases in the OpenHarmony Business Case Collection (integrating all industries).
