GoPaint goes native for Harmony OS Next
Huawei’s GoPaint app, a native drawing tool designed for HarmonyOS, will be fully compatible with HarmonyOS Next by Q1 2025. The GoPaint app, launched earlier in 2024, provides users with advanced painting features, such as various brushes, canvases, and tutorial videos. This compatibility update is expected to further enhance the app's performance on HarmonyOS Next, making it faster, smoother, and more efficient for artistic tasks.
The app already supports 10,000 apps and includes smart features like AI-assisted tools for drawing, and it’s designed to cater to beginners and advanced users alike. The update will include improved support for large canvases, new brush types, and more efficient processing with high frame rates, targeting users who require professional-level painting tools. This launch aligns with Huawei’s push for a fully independent ecosystem following its break from Android.
